Michael D. Dolchin
Michael Dolchin fits in perfectly at Dolchin, Slotkin & Todd (DS&T). Mr. Dolchin previously worked in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office (DA’s Office) where he honed his litigation skills while working his way up to the Major Trials Unit. He follows in the footsteps of two of the firm’s shareholders, former Litigation Chair Joel W. Todd and Domestic Relations Chair Arlan Kardon, who also cut their teeth at the DA’s Office.
It was as an intern in the Major Trials Unit that Mr. Dolchin fell in love with litigation, watching experienced litigators fight it out in the courtroom day in and day out. Yet it is what differentiates DS&T from the DA’s Office that drew Mr. Dolchin to the firm.
“We are neither a defense firm nor a plaintiff’s firm. Our focus is on forming long-term, personal relationships with our clients and being able to meet all of their legal needs,” says Mr. Dolchin. “Each case is unique, as are each client’s needs. I enjoy the daily challenge the breadth of work ensures and the opportunity to work so closely with my clients.”
Mr. Dolchin earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Dolchin resides in Philadelphia with his wife.
