Ellis Eisen views himself as a problem solver who can cut to the heart of a matter to communicate his understanding of, and solution to, the problems of his clients.
A shareholder at Dolchin, Slotkin & Todd, P.C. (DS&T), Mr. Eisen joined the firm nearly two decades ago to represent professional clients in all aspects of their personal and business lives, including the acquisition of businesses and real estate, tax litigation, and estate planning and administration. Mr. Eisen is recognized for his knowledge of local and state tax matters, having previously served as Deputy City Solicitor for Enforcement in the City of Philadelphia Law Department. Prior to that, he clerked for the civil motions judge, the Honorable Eugene Gelfand of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia.
Mr. Eisen was noted for distinguished classroom performance at Temple University School of Law, where he earned both his J.D. and LL.M. (taxation) degrees. Mr. Eisen graduated cum laude with a B.A. in sociology from Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Eisen is a member of the Tax Law and Healthcare sections of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars; the U.S. Court of Appeals, the 3rd Circuit; the U.S. Tax Court; and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Eisen lives in Wynnewood with his wife, son and daughter.
